Bronze chainmaille jumprings are a new product for us, and what we offer is genuine bronze (92% copper & 8% tin) not red brass, as offered by other suppliers. We found a source for bronze wire and saw that no one else was currently offering bronze jumprings. Bronze polishes to a nice color somewhere between a yellow gold and copper color..... shortterm patina is reddish. It takes YEARS for the patina that we associate with old, weathered statues to develop naturally, but the process can be hastened with a patinating solution.
