We do use the information you give us for processing orders, improving the website and for our chainmaille newsletter (Maille Tales). No one can sign you up (unless they have access to your email account). Maille Tales will go out about once a month and will include announcements, sales, new kits and tutorials. Our server has safeguards installed to prevent security breeches attempting to gain access to personal information.

When registering, logging in and making payments, the server involved verifies that your internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt your personal information and credit card data. Your sensitive financial information is stored on the payment processor servers and heavily guarded, both physically and electronically. We use a private SSL certificate issued to us by a leading SSL certificate vendor, unlike many websites that use an SSL certificate that is shared by every website stored on that particular server. Our server is also tested daily and certified "secure & hacker-proof" quarterly by a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV).
