In black canvas, with a handle and shoulder strap, it measures 10 inches wide by 9 inches high by 6 inches deep, with 3 outside pockets with velcro closures and 3 inside pockets for tools and anything else you might want to take with you. The front unzips around three sides for easy access. There are 6 trays, each with 14 locking compartments - that's 84 places to store rings and the most marvelous feature is that each compartment can be individually opened and/or locked, thus preventing ring migration... AND there's room in the tote for one more tray (purchased separately), to make a total of 7 trays and 98 compartments! Sorting rings after dropping tins or bags is virtually eliminated, and as an example, one compartment will hold about 2 ounces of 18g/3.5mm rings.... that's a lot of rings!
I have been using this organizer for over a year (in fact, I have TWO!) and I just don't believe that there is a better ring storage/organizer system anywhere!
