Shipping & Returns

Shipping:

Presently we ship orders the day after they are cut.   If you need your order sooner, please let us know.  We are happy to try to accommodate you.   Our standard shipping is USPS Priority with delivery confirmation, however if you desire a different shipping method, please include it in the comments section at checkout or email us, we can ship USPS Express, Fed Ex and UPS. International shipping is via USPS Priority International mail.  Some orders fall into a category where "Signature Required" or "Insurance Required" status is required by PayPal or our Credit Card processor.  When this occurs, please do not ask us to waive these requirements.

International shipments can take an extended amount of time to be delivered based upon the local Customs Agents.  The average time is just over 3 weeks for most areas outside of North America.  We abide by USA regulations.  All International packages will be marked "Merchandise".  Please do not ask us to label your package as a "Gift" as this will violate shipping regulations and potentially subject us to criminal penalties.

USPS Tracking Number:  The tracking number provided in your shipping notification IS NOT a tracking number.  By USPS definition, lower-cost products, such as Delivery Confirmation™, only include Confirmation of Delivery.  This means that a user checking the Track & Confirm site for a mailpiece sent with Delivery Confirmation should see, at a minimum, when the mailpiece was delivered or when a delivery attempt occurred.  USPS may also provide users with additional scan on items that include confirmation of delivery, such as “processed”, “arrival at unit”, or “out for delivery.”   However, the price of these lower-cost products does not include end-to-end visibility.

What does Track & Confirm show?

Enter your label number to see the status of your item. If you shipped with Express Mail®, you’ll get point-by-point tracking details. If you used another service— First Class or PriorityMail™ —you’ll see when it went out for delivery.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: 

FIRST CLASS PACKAGE:  First Class Packages are shipped in a padded manila envelope. 

USPS has added a slightly larger package to the International Small Flat Rate schedule.  That box will accept DVDs and tools up to a certain limit that previously required an insanely high shipping cost.

IMPORTANT NOTE International orders valued $400 or greater CANNOT be shipped via First Class or Small Flat Rate box due to Customs export/import regulations.  Orders either need to be separated into more than one order or shipping choice must be a larger flat rate box or Fedex.  Unfortunately, our shipping software cannot be automated to remove those choices and we depend upon the customer to make the appropriate choice and not try to 'cheat' the system.  Orders that fall into this category will be delayed until the additional shipping charges are paid.

Claims for lost packages cannot be made until 45 days have elapsed from the date of shipment.  If you want us to reship the order sooner, we are happy to do so, but you will be required to pay for the 2nd order and we will refund the purchase price of the original order as soon as the insurance claim is settled.  We understand that everyone wants to receive their order as soon as practical but shipping delays are out of our control.  Tracking via the US Postal Service is poor at best.  If you want better tracking availability, you always have the option of choosing UPS for your order.  So far, we have not had an order lost or damaged.

We're sorry that International orders cannot be shipped via UPS due to the customs documents that UPS requires to be submitted with the package.  UPS seems to go out of their way to make international shipping for small  business as painful as possible.  We welcome any solutions that our customers may have regarding International UPS shipments.

 

Returns:

We know that occasionally returns will happen.  We want everyone to be 100% satisfied with their purchase. If you place a standard order and are unhappy with the quality of the merchandise, we will happily refund your money.  All jumprings are "Made to order" and due to their nature, we will not  accept returns or refund money for customer error or remorse.  In the event we make a mistake filling an order (and it does happen *sigh*) we will replace your order with the correct merchandise and ship the replacement order at our cost, once you return the incorrect merchandise to us. We will occasionally make an exception to accepting a return and in those cases, we will refund or credit 70% per troy ounce of the current silver spot market price.

 

Combining Orders

Occasionally, we are asked to combine orders which were placed within a short period of time.  If possible, we will accomodate the request and the difference in shipping costs will be issued as a store credit which can be used on future orders.  If you wish to receive a refund to your credit card or PayPal account, there will be a $2 USD handling charge to combine the orders and refund the surplus shipping charges.
